Obiettivo To improve the mechanical properties and the geometry of strip, the research aims to set up a system to continuously monitor the temperature distribution across the strip width. After the evaluation of the influence of these variations in temperature on strip properties, it will be possible for corrective action to be taken which could involve selective cooling of the strip or edge reheating.
