Ziel

This research is aimed at the development of a quantitative description of the raceway, covering size and shape, gas flow and pressures, materials flow and their influence of furnace operation. It will involve cold physical modelling, hot pilot plant studies including samples from operating blast furnaces. This project is complementary to the proposals from CSM (P2412) and from Hoogovens (P2485) included in this programme.
