Obiettivo The objective of the proposed project is to study and to model the strongest (Ap>100nT, Dst<-100 nT) geo-effective disturbances in the corona and inner heliosphere that occurred during solar cycle 23, i.e. from 1997-2005. It is expected that the developed project methods and software products be used to reliably monitor space weather conditions on short-term (2-5 days) basis in 3D. The new data/methods will be made available for future use based on the selection of adequate software packages and data formats. Storage will be done on CD-ROM and DVD media as well as on special institute's Internet servers (computers) to serve the scientific community. A direct comparison and collaboration will take place in 2006 in connection to the STEREO mission data analysis.
