Mechanical stresses in perlitic steels

Ziel

The aim of this project is to determine the residual stresses in pearlite by X- ray diffraction measurements only in the ferrite phase. The method will be applied to industrially produced pearlitic steels and the influence of these stresses on properties will be studied.
