Objective The present proposal concerns the development of atropenantioselective localizations using an intermolecular Standing legation strategy. The study will be undertaken in the Homestead/Van Maureen group at the University of Amsterdam. This group has recently disclosed a novel strategy for the synthesis of medium-sized lactase, and is currently developing the use of the /nframolecular Standing legation in difficult localizations, towards an improved synthesis of several homo- and heterodetically closed cyclopeptides. Future work proposed herein will be dedicated to the particularly challenging stereo selective synthesis of cyclopeptides exhibiting atropisomerism. Striking examples of related bioactive products are RP 66453 (neurotensine receptor antagonist) and the glycol part of vancomycin (glycopeptides antibiotic) Keywords Atropenantioselective Staudinger ligation chiral phosphine intramolecular macrolactamization natural cyclopeptides Programme(s) FP6-MOBILITY - Human resources and Mobility in the specific programme for research, technological development and demonstration "Structuring the European Research Area" under the Sixth Framework Programme 2002-2006 Topic(s) MOBILITY-2.1 - Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowships (EIF) Call for proposal FP6-2002-MOBILITY-5 See other projects for this call Funding Scheme EIF - Marie Curie actions-Intra-European Fellowships Coordinator UNIVERSITEIT VAN AMSTERDAM EU contribution No data Address Spui 21 AMSTERDAM Netherlands See on map Total cost No data
