Obiettivo The market for stainless steel tubing in water distribution systems has been relatively small compared to copper tubing. This research project will examine and quantify aspects of corrosion in industrial, institutional and domestic water systems and heating units, and, by extension, potential applications in waste and foul water disposal. This will lead to assessment of durability compared to competing products and to the formulation of standards and specifications for water heaters, tubing, fittings, and their fabrication and use.
