Use of RPV Dosimetry Benchmark's Results for Determining Radiation Embrittlement Damage

Ziel

The main objective of the proposed RADE workshop is to disseminate the new reactor dosimetry results obtained within EC projects important for substantiation of safe operation and prolongation of the VVERs lifetime. They refer to the VVERs benchmarks of the REDOS project, the experiments with RPV surveillance specimens carried out at Balakovo and Kola NPP within TACIS and COBRA projects, and the use of the niobium induced activity for retrospective RPV neutron fluence analyses considered within the RETROSPEC project. The long-term objectives of the workshop are: transmitting and preserving of knowledge by involving professionals and young researchers in the recent achievements of reactor dosimetry; stimulating the enhanced application of the new results for more precise determination of the irradiation embrittlement ageing of the VVERs structure materials. The workshop aims to review the state of the art of RPV dosimetry and emphasize the trends in the further development of neutron fluence calculational methods and measurement techniques. The conclusive paper will be presented and discussed in relevant meetings of the EC projects PERFECT and COVERS and CEG-PLIM for ISTC. The workshop will be held during one week. The invited topical presentations will be followed by discussion after each presentation. The workshop will be evaluated according to the answers to the questionnaire that will be distributed to the attendees during the event. The duration of the whole project is estimated to be 12 months.
