Objective The aim of this research project is to improve steel melt cleanliness by optimising flow conditions in the melt/bubbles/slag/deoxidation products multiphase system in the ladle and tundish. This project continues previous ECSC research work, with special emphasis on gas stirring and deposition of suspended particles.
