Objetivo The observation of oscillations of muon-neutrinos into electron-neutrinos or setting the tight limit on that process is of fundamental importance for particle physics. The main research objective of the project is to apply and develop the methods of effective, low-background separation of electron-neutrino interaction in the long-baseline detectors MINOS and ICARUS.The project is designed to help in the integration with neutrino group from Warsaw University. This goal will be achieved in two ways: by app lying the knowledge acquired while working for the MINOS experiment and by active participation in construction of the ICARUS detector.
