Obiettivo In the framework of our proposal we plan to investigate physical processes in the early universe such as: generation of primordial helicity, phenomenological models of Lorentz invariance and parity violation, sources of non-Gaussianity in the anisotropies of the CMB. We will take into account current (and near future) data on CMB temperature anisotropy to derive limits on non-Gaussianity and parity-violating fluctuations. We use these limits to constrain specific models including brane-words cosmology, string theories, cosmological magnetic fields, primordial turbulent motions, and effects from non-linear coupling during inflation.We plan to study various correlations in temperature and polarization CMB maps, and we address the crucial role of noise, both in measured and simulated CMB maps. A promising way to test Lorentz invariance violation (LV) is related to its modification of the propagation of EM waves in the universe. To constrain LV we plan to use near future observations of Gamma- and X-ray photons from GRB and from other astrophysical sources emitting high frequency photons. We plan to study different models of GRBs and to investigate the question of Gamma band frequency polarization from GRBs.
