Objective
A consortium of film producers, experts in future studies and TV broadcasting organisations intend to co-produce a serial of TV-programmes targeting young people unfamiliar with science. The purpose of the TV-programmes is to create awareness of the impact of science on the society. The aim is to stimulate young people's interest in a science career by setting up scenarios for the future society. The scenarios shall inspire young people to engage themselves in the future development of the society. The young characters in the TV-programmes will seek answers to the following questions: What solutions are needed to make tomorrow's world better that today's? How can science contribute to provide solutions to future societal problems? The key characters in the TV-programmes will be a group of young people, the Future Detectives, who will try to understand whether we are prepared to solve tomorrow problems.
