Centre for energy efficient technologies and systems in indoor environment engineering

Objective

The goal of the Centre is raising the level of scientific skills and engineering abilities of Polish professionals in shaping indoor environment in buildings. The Centre will offer opportunities for Polish specialists to adapt to up-to-date European standards and take advantage of the experience in creating energy effective HVAC systems.

In result it will be possible to introduce new, energy efficient devices and systems using RES, apply new methods of assessment and reduction of environment related heal th risks and influence establishing technical and legal regulations concerning the installations in question, patterned on EU acts. The Centre will consolidate links with other similar centres and networks in EU and NAS, preparing the ground for easier and enhanced participation of Polish research centres in 5/6 Framework Programme (Key Act.4&6).
