Test, rating and specification of Pv concentrator components and systems

Obiettivo

The purpose of this project is to define standard methods and criteria for testing, rating and specifying PV concentrator components systems, in order to make possible the marketing of these products with the same degree of guarantee reached for conventional flat modules.

A "book" with the conclusions of the work carried out by experts representing all the PV actors, from scientists, laboratories, official qualification centres, manufacturers and final users, will be issued to present the proposals to the PV community. This draft including the proposed standards, the minimum required specifications, the recommended testing and monitoring procedures will be disseminated to public, as a basis for open discussion in order to state an European (or world-wide, if possible) directive before year 2004.
