Survey and Prospects of IMP PAN Research

Objective

The Institut has already an established position in the scientific community involved in broadly understood energy conversion in flows, structural mechanics, dynamics of machinery, laser technology and plasma dynamics. The recognized potential of IMP PAN is a good starting point for the involvement in the European Research Area. However, to reach the level of European partners a significant upgrade of present potential is necessary. It is considered as very useful and helpful for IMP PAN to get a critical evaluation of the existing potential by independent specialists and to obtain indications for further development in the corresponding fields of interest. This will help to guide the development of IMPPAN towards the goals recognized in European Community.
