Objective
The overall technological aim is to develop a mould-brick acoustic solution based on noise absorption and insulation due material density and porosity that will at least increase levels in 6 dB in performance but at a 20% lower weight and will avoid or minimize noise flanking. The acoustic insulation and absorption of the brick will be achieved by developing the concept of layers oand forms in the brick. The layer concept consists in developing different layers with different density and porosity across the brick section, for achieving a better noise insulation and absorption, but also thermal. The porous size and placement will increase the noise absorption while the increase density in section will allow us to keep or increase the noiise insulation. The internal forms will benefit for increase the reflection and absorption and the ecternal form, will avoid or minimize the flanking by creating a male-female join. The performance of the acoustiv brick will exceed current solutions The specififv technological objectives are to produce a mould-brick manufacturing solution that: 1.Will create a brick consisting in different sections where density and porosity are different for increasing insulation levels 2.The insulation level will be 6dB higher than current solution but with a 20% less weight 3.Will avoid or minimize noise flanking due to its external form 4.Will consume less energy and resources due to the manufacturing enhances achieved in the project 5.Design testing software to predict solution behaviour, once its form and characteristics have been decided, in order to decrease costs during mould and a brick making
