Objective
Research is far more than lab coats and test tubes – Researchers’ Night in Malta will welcome children, students, parents and professionals from all backgrounds to interact with researchers in an educational and entertaining night.
Based on last year’s experiences and the impact reached, I3 will guarantee an attractive, well-balanced programme of activities focusing on scientific and educational issues together with fun and entertainment, giving a face and voice to our researchers to show their work and its benefits to us all.
I3 aims to bring our researchers and scientists closer to more than 4,000 visitors in a relaxed and festive environment. The programme will explore the role of science and research in our everyday lives through fun competitions, interactive activities and exhibits, drama, concerts, informal dialogues on hot topics and exhibitions, sky observations - all aiming at attracting the broad public especially young people and those not specifically interested in research. Furthermore researchers will be provided with the opportunity to present their work to peers and to the broad public.
All the activities will also be broadcasted live on National Television and media reports are also expected to cover the event.
