REsearch is Fun, yoUng and Ever Living

Objective

The Re-Fuel project will treasure the experience capitalised in the past editions (RCCS (2006), ReASON (2007), REPLAY (2008) and Re-Party (2009) and will continue to work as accumulation point for resources, ideas, energies and expertise which will ensure the full regional coverage, both in Piedmont and Aosta Valley. Partners’ and over 50 organisations’ endeavours will concentrate on organising a Researcher’s Night in two city more than in 2009 and Aosta Valley, in order to offer to citizens a widened offer and opportunity to meet researchers and their life and work and to interact with them.
The 2010 edition will stress three of the very many characteristics that may describe research as a fun, young and ever living human activity. This will be the starting point expressed by the project title itself and by the acronym, suggesting that fun lays in the inner core for every scientific investigation and that this is keeping it young and yet not a new come. The result is an ever-living propelling engine for humankind evolution, fuelled by new generations’ interests and involvement.
In this scenario, and after the ESOF2010 event, Turin will be the 2010 European Youth Capital (EYC) and will be given the chance to to showcase its youth-related cultural, social, political and economic life and development. 2010 Researchers’ Night will be one of Turin EYC cornerstone events.
