Objective
The project presented within this proposal consists of the management, preparation and celebration of a three-days event that will include conferences, technical visits and projects exhibition. It also includes the dissemination and outreach of the results obtained during the conferences.
The event has as main objective to present an overview of the research that has been developed in aeronautics in Europe through the Sixth and Seventh Framework Programmes, taking stock of the results obtained according to the goals set by the Vision 2020 document provided by the ACARE Technology Platform.
With this respect, and taking a longer perspective into account, it is of particular interest of the event to present the new Vision for the aeronautics and air transport sector beyond 2020 (Vision 2050), which is an ambitious high-level document to be used as a guideline input for the delivery of solutions to meet the challenges of the future of the sector.
