Objective
The Researchers' Night in Estonia has already became a national-wide celebration. During previous five events 2006-2010, more than 70.000 visitors have been attending the local RN events in many cities of the country and more than 400.000 people were watching the events by National TV live broadcast. This is quite a remarkable number in comparison with the number of the inhabitants in Estonia (all together just 1.3 M).
The idea of the project is to introduce the researchers' profession as interesting, colorful and quite in reach possibility for youngsters - and at the same time to demonstrate the broad European dimension of the project and other cooperative FP7 activities (European Corner).
