Objective
"The aim of second edition of Researchers’ Night project in Serbia is to enhance public recognition of researchers and their work and to demonstrate that researchers are part of the society and that society needs researchers. All we are researchers, edition II project is envisaged to raise awareness of general objectives prior to the event, organize festive and innovative activities during the event in three main cities in Vojvodina (Novi Sad, Zrenjanin and Subotica) and monitor and disseminate the results during and after the event in order to promote closeness and interaction between researchers and the public at large through an integrated approach that will promote science as a field of work fundamentally important to our lives and our future, and researchers as people who solve the current problems of our society.
Project is targeting public at large, regardless of their age, educational and scientific background. Venues are chosen in city centers, close to the main pedestrian zones. The activities organized during the night will offer a balanced combination of science-linked activities (demonstrations, simulations, hands-on experiments) and festive ones (games, sports, quizzes, competitions and music)."
