European contact portal

Objective

The objective of the European Contact Portal (ECP) was to create more and better business opportunities, adding value to the process of European integration. Contact information is the key resource for the ECP.

The ECP is designed to create business contacts within the EU common market. This was achieved by combining public and commercial information on companies and making this information available to citizens regardless of language or cultural barriers. The ECP built a substantial information base, aiding companies all over Europe to create business contacts. The ECP adds value to various public and commercial sources and makes the information easily accessible to businesses creating market-related content covering the whole EU market.

The services of the ECP were made available to all Internet users and via mobile platforms. The result of this project was the creation of information services of value to the EU market and at the same time an ongoing, profitable pan-European business.
