Terapia génica no viral contra la anemia
La anemia viene causada por la disminución de la cantidad de hemoglobina, la materia colorante de la sangre. Las causas pueden ser múltiples. Los trastornos genéticos de la hemoglobina son los culpables de la talasemia hereditaria, o la drepanocitosis. Como mejor se tratan estas formas de anemia es con terapia génica. Así pues, se han desarrollado nuevos métodos de integración génica en la célula.

Non-viral gene therapy of anaemia
Anaemia is a blood condition brought about through a deficiency of the red blood cell haemoglobin. There are many causes of anaemia. Genetic disorders of haemoglobin cause inherited thalassaemia, or sickle cell anaemia. These types of anaemia are better treated by gene therapy. New methods for gene integration into the cell have been developed.

L'anémie est un état sanguin provoqué par une déficience de l'hémoglobine des globules rouges. Il y a de nombreuses cause d'anémie. Les désordres génétiques de l'hémoglobine causent une thalassémie héréditaire ou une anémie drépanocytaire. Ces types d'anémie sont mieux traités par thérapie génique. De nouvelles méthodes d'intégration de gène dans une cellule ont été mises au point.

L'anemia è un'affezione del sangue caratterizzata da un'insufficiente concentrazione dell'emoglobina nei globuli rossi. L'anemia può essere causata da svariati fattori. Le affezioni genetiche dell'emoglobina,per esempio, sono all'origine della talassemia, detta anche anemia drepanocitica o falcemica. La terapia migliore per questi tipi di anemia risulta essere quella genica. Oggi, sono stati messi a punto nuovi metodi per l'integrazione del gene nella cellula.

Nicht virale Gentherapie bei Anämie
Eine Anämie ist eine Unregelmäßigkeit im Blutbild, die durch eine Verminderung des roten Blutfarbstoffs Hämoglobin verursacht wird. Für eine Anämie können zahlreiche Gründe vorliegen. Ein genetisch bedingter Hämoglobinmangel verursacht die Erbkrankheiten Thalassämie oder Sichelzellenanämie. Diese Anämietypen sind mit der Gentherapie besser behandelbar. Hier wurden neue Verfahren für den Gentransfer in die Zelle entwickelt.

Para intentar comprender y curar una enfermedad rara
La disquinesia ciliar primaria es una enfermedad congénita rara con variedad de síntomas, cuya expresión es sin embargo la de una enfermedad pulmonar crónica. En el marco de este proyecto nuevo se ha emprendido la investigación de los genes responsables del síndrome, de tal forma que se acabe facilitando el conocimiento de la patofisiología de la enfermedad y, en último término, se pueda curarla.
