La tecnología de flujo laminar natural mejora
En su búsqueda de futuras aeronaves más eficientes, los diseñadores de aeronaves han desarrollado algunos conceptos elegantes como el de las alas de flujo laminar, que pueden reducir la resistencia aerodinámica, el consumo de combustible, la contaminación y el ruido. Sobre la base del éxito de proyectos europeos anteriores, un grupo de investigadores de la Unión Europeo avanzó hacia el paso siguiente midiendo el flujo laminar y evaluando las mejoras en la resistencia aerodinámica en un modelo de reactor corporativo.

Natural laminar flow technology becomes more mature
In their quest for more efficient future aircraft, aircraft designers have developed some elegant concepts such as that of laminar flow wings that can significantly reduce drag, fuel consumption, pollutants and noise. Building on the success of previous relevant European projects, EU researchers moved to the next step by measuring laminar flow and assessing drag improvements on a model business jet.

Toujours à la poursuite d'avions plus efficaces, les concepteurs ont proposé plusieurs concepts élégants pour réduire notablement la traînée, la consommation de carburant, la pollution et le bruit, comme les ailes à écoulement laminaire. Des chercheurs de l'UE se sont appuyés sur les succès de précédents projets de l'UE afin d'aller de l'avant en mesurant l'écoulement laminaire et en évaluant l'amélioration de la traînée sur une maquette de jet d'affaires.

Starając się zbudować bardziej wydajny samolot przyszłości, projektanci opracowali różne wyszukane koncepcje, takie jak skrzydło z przepływem laminarnym, które znacząco zmniejsza opór aerodynamiczny, zużycie paliwa, emisję zanieczyszczeń i hałas. W oparciu o sukces wcześniejszych europejskich projektów z tej dziedziny, naukowcy z UE poszli o krok dalej, mierząc przepływ laminarny i oceniając możliwości zmniejszenia oporu na modelu odrzutowca biznesowego.

Nella loro ricerca di più efficienti aerei del futuro, i progettisti aeronautici hanno sviluppato alcuni eleganti concetti come quello di ali a flusso laminare, che possono ridurre significativamente la resistenza fluidodinamica, il consumo di carburante, gli inquinanti e il rumore. Sulla scia del successo di precedenti progetti europei sull’argomento, alcuni ricercatori dell’UE hanno compiuto il passo successivo misurando il flusso laminare e valutando i miglioramenti della resistenza fluidodinamica su un su un business jet modello.

Auf ihrer Suche nach den effizienteren Flugzeugen der Zukunft haben die Flugzeugkonstrukteure einige elegante Konzepte wie beispielsweise das des Laminarströmungsflügels entwickelt, das ganz erheblich den Luftwiderstand, Treibstoffverbrauch, Schadstoffausstoß und Lärm reduzieren kann. Aufbauend auf dem Erfolg früherer einschlägiger europäischer Projekte unternahmen EU-Forscher mit der Messung der Laminarströmung und der Bewertung der Verbesserungen im Luftwiderstand an einem Modell-Geschäftsflugzeug den nächsten Schritt.
