[RESULT IN BRIEF] Harmonising research through Joint Programming Initiatives
The Member States and the European Council have developed a set of 10 Joint Programming Initiatives (JPIs) to overcome the fragmentation of research activities, programmes and policies across Europe. Since the JPIs involve different institutions from different countries with different procedures, there is a need for framework conditions (FCs) facilitating harmonised planning and implementation.

Państwa członkowskie oraz Komisja Europejska opracowały zestaw 10 inicjatyw w zakresie wspólnego planowania (JPI) z zamiarem rozwiązania problemu fragmentacji europejskich badań naukowych, programów i polityk. Ponieważ do realizacji JPI włączają się różne instytucje z różnych krajów o odmiennych procedurach, istnieje potrzeba opracowania warunków ramowych (FC), usprawniających ujednolicone planowanie i wdrożenie.

Les États membres et le Conseil européen ont développé un ensemble de 10 initiatives de programmation commune pour remédier à la fragmentation des activités, des programmes et des politiques de recherche en Europe. Les JPI impliquent des institutions issues de différents pays et qui n'appliquent pas les mêmes procédures, il faut donc mettre en place des conditions du cadre pour faciliter l'harmonisation de la planification et de l'implémentation.

Deshalb werden inzwischen auch probabilistische seismische Gefahrenbewertungen länderübergreifend durchgeführt, und nie zuvor wurde die Region Europa-Mittelmeer mit harmonisierten Daten zur Gefahrenmodellierung so dicht abgedeckt.
