Naukowcy korzystający z dofinansowania UE dokonali optymalizacji europejskiej platformy MasterPlan, mającej zapewnić przestrzeganie zasad etyki i bezpieczeństwa w badaniach nanotechnologicznych. Opracowano narzędzie o nazwie CodeMeter, którego zadaniem jest zwiększanie świadomości i skuteczniejsze egzekwowanie opracowanego przez Komisję Europejską kodeksu postępowania w badaniach nanotechnologicznych.

Des scientifiques financés par l'UE ont optimisé MasterPlan, un cadre pour conduire de manière éthique et sûre la recherche en nanosciences. EU-funded scientists optimised a European framework called MasterPlan for ethical and safe conduct in nanoscience research. A tool called Codemeter was developed to assist in spreading awareness and better implementation of the European Commission code of conduct (EC-CoC) with regard to nanoscience research.
