Un nuevo tipo de pavimento fabricado fundamentalmente con neumáticos reciclados ligados con una resina elástica podría reducir drásticamente el ruido del tráfico —a niveles comparables con los que ofrecería una pantalla acústica de 3 metros de alto—, además de dotar de una segunda vida útil a los neumáticos usados; una alternativa sostenible a su eliminación.

Des routes extrêmement silencieuses, à partir de pneus recyclés et d'une résine comme liant
Un nouveau revêtement pour routes, contenant une proportion importante de pneus recyclés et utilisant une résine élastique comme liant, pourrait réduire de manière très importante le bruit de la circulation. La réduction équivaudrait à un écran antibruit de 3 mètres de haut, et le processus serait une méthode respectueuse de l'environnement pour recycler les pneus usagés.

Innowacyjna nawierzchnia drogowa o znacznej zawartości zutylizowanych opon samochodowych spojonych elastyczną żywicą mogłaby dramatycznie zmniejszyć hałas ruchu drogowego (w stopniu porównywalnym z trzymetrowym ekranem akustycznym), stanowiąc jednocześnie ekologiczną metodę utylizacji zużytych opon.

Leiser Verkehr auf Straßen aus harzgebundenen Recyclingreifen
Eine innovative Fahrbahnoberfläche, die eine erhebliche Menge an mit einem elastischen Harz gebundenen, recycelten Autoreifen enthält, könnte den Verkehrslärm extrem reduzieren. Die Werte sind vergleichbar mit einer 3 m hohen Lärmschutzwand. Gleichzeitig bietet sich eine umweltfreundliche Alternative zur Entsorgung von Altreifen.

Strade in pneumatici riciclati in resina per la massima riduzione del rumore del traffico
Un’innovativa superficie stradale contenente un’importante quantità di pneumatici riciclati per vetture e a base di resina elastica potrebbe ridurre il rumore del traffico come non è mai avvenuto prima, cioè in modo paragonabile a una barriera di isolamento acustico alta 3 m, fornendo allo stesso tempo un’alternativa ecologica per l’eliminazione dei pneumatici usati.

Resin-bound recycled-tyre roads for extreme traffic noise reduction
An innovative road surface containing an important amount of recycled car tyres and bound with an elastic resin could reduce traffic noise in an extreme way, i.e. comparable with a 3 m high noise screen, while providing an eco-friendly alternative for disposing of end-of-life tyres.
