Abstract

The EU-funded MOC-DA project focused on the catalytic direct diamination of olefins to access vicinal diamines in an enantioselective manner. This document is an attachment to the final activity report and provides explanatory schematics of the investigated reactions. The first scheme refers to a novel intramolecular anionic cycloaddition, while the second analyses the obtainment of oxazolidinone-5 in aqueous butanol at room temperature. Figure three depicts the osmium catalysed direct diamination of olefins to access vicinal diamines 12. On the other hand, the fourth picture illustrates the unsuccessful attempt to detect the desired diaminated product during an oxidation reaction. Finally, figure five presents the aminohydroxylation reaction of styrenes using a re-oxidant source that was based on the amino-acid valine 16.
