This is the final report of the 'Hull identification system for marine autonomous robotics' (HISMAR) project. Funded under the Sixth Framework Programme, HISMART aimed to design and built a multifunctional robotic platform which will offer the option to perform specific inspection or maintenance tasks such as structural integrity monitoring of the ship's hull or carrying out cleaning. The report covers the execution of the project, from objectives, contractors, work performed, results and the impact of the results.
