Abstract

This is the final report of the PICUS project, which was funded by the SME Programme of the Sixth Framework Programme. The objective of PICUS was to develop a fully compostable fibre to manufacture twines for staking and propping plants and nets for packaging agricultural products.

The report includes an executive summary, a description of the project objectives and the PICUS consortium as well as details concerning the work performed and the results achieved. A list of all project deliverables is provided as well as a dissemination and exploitation plan.
