Final Report - LOW-HEAT (The Development of a new Domestic Heat Recovery Technology for Low Grade Heat in Waste Water)

Funded under: FP6-SME

The preparation and storage of hot water for domestic and commercial purposes are energy demanding and costly activities which need to be reviewed because of the increased environmental concerns and the demand for sustainable practices in the heating and plumbing sector. As a consequence, the LOW-HEAT project, which was funded by the European Commission, aimed to develop a low cost and efficient intelligent network management of heat recovery devices for the plumbing and heating market.

This final activity report provides an overview of the market and the emerging necessities and summarises the project objectives. Moreover, the undertaken approach is presented and the developed system components are analysed. Finally, the document refers to the undertaken dissemination activities and the project marketing plan.
