Final Report - FORCA SPECLAB (Reinforcement of the Research Capacities of the Spectroscopy laboratory for Archaeometry)
Project ID: 43642Funded under: FP6-INCO
Micro-Raman spectroscopy is one of the most suitable and up-to-date non-destructive techniques in the characterisation of materials and artefacts and is at present regarded as the state of the art in the field of archaeometry. However no such device existed in the country. Thanks to the project one micro-Raman spectrometer with an optical fibre probe was purchased and installed in the laboratory of the project coordinator institution - the first of its kind in the country. This final report lists how the project opened up their capabilities to engage in new projects and fields of research.
