Project ID: 43982Funded under: FP6-INCO
This is the final report of the CROSCOG project which looked at cross sectoral commons governance in Southern Africa. It provided recommendations on how to manage commons, or shared natural resources, in the region. The report opens with an introduction on commons, project aims, and project partners. It discusses outcomes with respect to creating a network to achieve the project's objectives, as well as outcomes in identifying and sharing lessons from recent research. The most important part and main body of the report involves the messages or recommendations it offers to communities, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and policymakers that enable the stakeholders to manage commons. A brief section at the end talks about dissemination of knowledge and the publishable results that emerged from the project.
