This is the final report of the AMI-SME project, whose aim was to deliver a solution that meets the information requirements of international marketing and sales endeavours. It aimed to gather, analyse and store essential information for Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which had the intention of entering or had recently ventured into the international market.

The document begins with an overview of the project objectives, the work performed and results achieved, its partners as well as its impact. It goes on with a more detailed description of the need of SMEs to acquire information regarding internationalisation processes and strategies, target markets, their products and services, market potentials, competitors, legal issues, sales organisation as well as marketing events.

The second chapter covers the eight Work packages (WPs) in which the AMI-SME project was divided. Brief remarks on the contribution of SMEs and of Research and technical development (RTD) performers conclude the report.
