Final Report - EUROMITE (Development of an economic rearing and transport system for an arid adapted strain of the predatory mite, Neoseiulus californicus, for spider mite control)

Project ID: 508090
Funded under: FP6-SME

Abstract

The EUROMITE project was funded under the EU's Sixth Framework Programme (FP6); it aimed to identify an arid adapted strain and develop an economic rearing and transport system that would allow growers to control spider mites at high temperatures and low humidity levels.

This final activity report provides critical information about the project through an overview of its objectives, activities and critical findings. Firstly, the document presents the involved contractors and summarises EUROMITE goals. It then analyses the work that was undertaken through the various work packages (WPs), and highlights the obtained results and the produced deliverables. Finally, the document closes with tables and lists that refer to the implemented knowledge dissemination plan.
