Final Report - REEFRES (Developing ubiquitous restoration practices for Indo-Pacific reefs)

Project ID: 510657
Funded under: FP6-INCO

Coral reefs are diverse and complex ecosystems that hold significant economic value for hundreds of millions of people. However, many of these reefs are continuously degrading due to direct and indirect anthropogenic impacts.

In this context, the EU-funded REEFRES project aimed to develop common active protocols for the restoration of coral reefs, with an emphasis on the Indo-Pacific region.

This final activity report provides an overview of the project objectives and presents in detail the undertaken activities. The specific goals and achievements of the various work packages (WPs) are analysed, with the aid of diagrams, pictures and figures. The document also compares the project to the state of the art and closes with an overview of the implemented dissemination plan.
