Project ID: 510408
Funded under: FP6-LIFESCIHEALTH

Abstract

The European funded project BOOSTING BALTIC FP6 aimed at increasing the competences for National Contact Points (NCPs) and their customers regarding programmes of Sixth Framework Program (FP6) and related knowledge and intended to advance their area of action by promoting advanced partnerships, entrepreneurship and competitiveness. BOOSTING BALTIC FP6 constituted an integrated set of networking, training and coaching measures by working parallel on two target groups: the NCPs of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland and, as a show-case model for sufficient technology transfer, the Life Science research community.

This final activity report describes the structure and the objectives of BOOSTING BALTIC FP6 and provides an analytical view of the results, the roadmap and the work performed through the project.

BOOSTING BALTIC FP6 was based on the close cooperation of ScanBalt, Steinbeis Technology Transfer, Vinnova and the local NCPs of the four New Member States. Its major outcome was increased participation in successful FP6 applications and enhanced competitiveness by the life sciences community in Associated Candidate Countries.
