Abstract

This is the final report for the OPERHA project which received funding under the European Commossion's Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). Its main aim was to design, develop, test and validate an adaptable and reversible restoration solution for structural strengthening of historical buildings in Europe and the Mediterranean area with the use of advanced composite materials such as the fibre reinforced polymer.

The report begins with providing some background information, the general aim and the objectives, as well as the consortium of the project. It goes on with the project's progress and the deviations on time. Then the objectives and major achievements of each of the six Work packages (WPs) are stated. The report also covers the expected results and impact of the project and concludes with the dissemination activities.
