Final Report - NANOIMPRINT (Nanoimprinting technologies for selective recognition and separation)

Project ID: 516981
Funded under: FP6-NMP

This is the final report for the NANOIMPRINT project which received funding under the European Commission's Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). The project focused on the research and applications of Molecular imprinting of polymers (MIPs) which constitute one of the most important technological and scientific challenges in the fields of biotechnology, biomedicine and others.

The report begins with stating the main scientific and technological objectives of the project and then covers briefly the contents of each of the four Work packages (WPs). Furthermore, the main areas of focus and achievements of each partner are stated in detail. The work focused on the synthesis of MIPs, MIPs for selective recognition/separation of biological molecules, MIPs as artificial receptors in biochemical applications and on evaluation studies on MIPs and commercial assessment, as well as on project management activities.
