Periodic Report - EUROTRAPS (Natural course, pathophysiology, models for early diagnosis, prevention and innovative treatment of (...) TRAPS with application for all hereditary recurrent fevers)

Project ID: 200923
Funded under: FP7-HEALTH

Abstract

This is the periodic activity report of the 'EUROTRAPS' project, which was funded under the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme.

EUROTRAPS aimed to gain insights into the natural course and pathophysiology of the tumour necrosis factor (TNF) receptor associated periodic syndrome (TRAPS) and to develop early diagnostic and innovative therapeutic models applicable to hereditary paediatric recurrent fevers.

The document provides a brief overview of the project context and summarises EUROTRAPS' objectives. It then analyses the activities that were undertaken, along with the obtained results. Finally, the potential project impact is highlighted.
