Non-human primates play an important role in biological and biomedical research, providing essential models in genomics and biotechnology for health.

The EUPRIM-NET project was funded under the European Commission's Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) and connected the publicly funded European primate centres that covered the central aspects of research. Its principal aim was to advance knowledge and competence in the areas of biological and biomedical research, animal keeping and breeding.

This final activity report summarises the completed activities and presents the obtained results. It firstly refers to the EUPRIM-NET's significance and then provides an overview of the project partial objectives. Moreover, it analyses the specific actions that were undertaken and refers to their positive effects and anticipated impact.
