Final Report - MAHEATT (Materials for high energy accumulators in traction and tools)

Project ID: 227541
Funded under: FP7-NMP

Abstract

The MAHEATT project was funded under the European Commission (EC)'s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). Its overall objective was to develop a prototype, cost effective, lithium-ion (Li-ion) high energy battery technology with electrode performances well beyond the current state of the art. Such innovations could apply to the automotive and hand held tools sectors.

These two documents present the project objectives and its structure in distinct work packages (WPs). Moreover, they summarise the implemented approach and illustrate the most important findings with the aid of explanatory figures. The potential for exploitation is also highlighted. Finally, the reports refer to the MAHEATT contribution towards the development of materials for a future generation of improved batteries and include the consortium coordinator contact details.
