Final Report - NEPHH (Nanomaterials-related environmental pollution and health hazards throughout their life cycle)

Project ID: 228536
Funded under: FP7-NMP

This is the final report for the NEPHH project which received funding under the European Commission's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). NEPHH aimed to identify and rate important forms of nanotechnology-related environmental pollution and health hazards that could result from activities involved in silicon-based polymer nanocomposites throughout their life cycle, and also to suggest means that might reduce or eliminate these impacts.

The report includes an executive summary focusing on the use of nanomaterials and nanotechnology, as well as the project main aim. It then introduces the context of the project and presents its specific objectives, as well as the main activities of the eight work packages. A presentation of the scientific and technical results of each work package is also provided. Finally, the report covers the potential impact and main dissemination and exploitation activities. Attached is also the final publishable summary report, as well as the project brochure.
