Final Report - ATPBONE (Fighting osteoporosis by blocking nucleotides: purinergic signalling in bone formation and homeostasis)
Project ID: 202231Funded under: FP7-HEALTH
This is the final summary report of the ATPBONE project, funded under the European Commission (EC)'s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). ATPBONE aimed to determine how a specific type of signal molecules called nucleotides via purinergic binding sites on cells can regulate both the formation of new bone and the degradation of old bone. The project examined how purinergic signalling is involved in the regulation of bone turnover and whether defects in these signals can lead to bone loss. The report document is a list of the consortium members.
