Proton ceramic fuel cells (PCFCs) with proton conducting oxides can operate at temperatures lower, in principle, than oxide ion conductors, without dilution of the fuel ir oxidation of the anode by water. Therefore, they can achieve improved fuel utilisation and efficiency.

In this context, the EU-funded EFFIPRO project aimed to explore the use of novel stable oxides to make an efficient PCFC also robust.

This final report firstly refers to the EFFIPRO context and objectives and then analyses the scientific and technological results that were obtained. It also summarises the potential impact of the findings and the undertaken dissemination activities. The document also lists the project beneficiaries and contacts and closes with the EFFIPRO related consortium publications.
