Final Report - EFORTT (Ethical Frameworks for Telecare Technologies For Older People at Home)

This is the final report for the EFORTT project which received funding under the European Commission (EC)'s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). EFORTT examined the ethical, social and gender implications of technological care interventions for older citizens in Spain, England, Norway and the Netherlands. Ethnographic and deliberative methods were used to achieve this. The report includes an executive summary mainly referring to the project objective and main findings. It goes on introducing its context and the four main objectives, as well as the activities undertaken in order to fulfill the objectives. It then elaborates on the deliberative, as well as the ethnographic / observational research findings and analyses the three key themes that these findings are divided into. The report also discusses the ethical framework for telecare and closes with the results' potential impact and the dissemination activities.

The report is accompanied by a document including the project logo and a list of beneficiaries.
