This is the final report for the 3D3CSI project which received funding under the European Commission (EC)'s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). 3D3CSI demonstrated a simple novel one-laser approach to combined broadband Fourier transform coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (FT CARS) microscopy and Ultrahigh resolution optical coherence tomography (UHR OCT) for cost-effective multimodal imaging. A multimodal FTCARS and spectral domain OCT using a single ultrafast Ti:Sapphire laser was developed and preliminary imaging was demonstrated. The report covers a summary of the method followed, the work performed and the achieved results.
