Abstract

This is the final publishable summary report for the RAPSODI project which received funding under the European Commission (EC)'s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). RAPSODI aimed to develop a safe and efficient vaccine generating a broadly protecting immune response against most or all Leishmania species that cause leishmaniasis in the world. The report includes an executive summary focusing on the project main aims and on a detailed description of the work performed. It goes on presenting its context and objectives in further details and then argues on the activities undertaken during the first and second report period and the related outcomes. The report also covers a detailed description of the results' potential impact and finally presents the partners involved. The second section covers the dissemination activities.
