Final Report - MUST (Multi-level protection of materials for vehicles by 'smart' nanocontainers)

Project ID: 214261
Funded under: FP7-NMP

This is the final publishable report for the MUST project which received funding under the European Commission (EC)'s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). The main objective of MUST project was the development of effective environmentally-friendly multi-level active protection systems for structural metallic materials used in future vehicles. The approach of MUST was based on a combination of advanced polymeric matrixes and active nanocontainers providing healing effects.

The report starts with an executive summary providing a general overview of the project and then further explains its context and main objectives. An illustration of the multi-level self-healing concept is also included. MUST consisted of six core sub-projects grouped in two work packages, the objectives and main outcomes of which are covered in this report. In the last section, the report refers to the results' potential impact and dissemination activities. Attached is also the final report of the project which does not include illustrations, charts and figures.
