Abstract

The PROPRALINE project, which was funded under the European Commission (EC)'s seventh Framework Programme (FP7), aimed to improve the competitiveness of the European small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) that produce exclusive, complicated and niche-oriented filled products, like chocolate pralines, by developing knowledge and technical solutions to improve quality and extend the shelf life of their products.

This final activity report firstly outlines the project context and presents its objectives. It also analyses the main scientific and technical (S&T) results that were obtained. The document then focuses on the potential impact of the project findings and, finally, closes with a brief overview of the implemented dissemination and knowledge exploitation activities.
