Final Report - SAFEGRAPE (Biosensor-based instrumentations to be used in vineyards and wineries for fast and sensitive detection of Botrytis cinerea, grey rot, in grapes)

Project ID: 232453
Funded under: FP7-SME

Abstract

This is the final report for the SAFEGRAPE project. Funded under the European Commission's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), SAFEGRAPE's main objective was to develop a simple and cheap instrument for the wine industry, able to provide a quantitative and reliable evaluation of the presence of Laccase activity, a by-product produced by the grey rot infection in grapes. The report includes initially a general overview of the project and goes on further explaining its context and main objectives. It then elaborates on the work carried out and finally, it covers the results' potential impact, the dissemination activities and the exploitation of results.
